Free Group Ride
Renton Beacon Hill Version 4 (Moderate)
Event has already happened.
Join me for a ride from Old Renton City Hall on a 35.9-mile route at Moderate pace (14-16 MPH). The pace of this ride is based on having no wind and being on a flat road. If there is a headwind or a hill, the pace will be lower, if we have a tailwind or downhill, the pace may be higher. Due to the number of similar routes, I lead version numbers are used, versions of the same ride may have very different elevation profiles, keep this in mind when deciding to do this ride.
We will ride along Lake Washington climb up to Newcastle before heading around Mercer Island on our quest for coffee.
Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that is done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup as needed. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
Restrooms are not available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at the points listed below.
